Join the Fire Department!
Have you ever thought about possibly joining the fire department or EMS? Ask a member about it, or just attend a business meeting held at our fire hall on the second Tuesday of every month. To qualify for membership, you must attend two consecutive business meetings, pass a background check, and finally be voted in.
Once you’re a member, you can choose what you want to and are capable of doing. You might choose to fight structure fires in full bunker gear, or drive a 4WD brush truck across burning ranch land. But not all members actively fight fires – you might help to keep our pumpers full of water, or bring needed supplies to firefighters, or receive EMS certification and provide pre-hospital medical care to members of the community in need of emergency medical services.
